Our K12 Virtual School

Welcome to my K12 blog! We’re a homeschooling family of 4, trying to make the most of our experiences together by spending as much time as we can together, before our kids are grown and out of the nest.

My son is a second grader and my daughter a mix of kindergarten and first grade, so we have a nice mix of curriculum to learn from. In addition to our K12 core classes, my son is enrolled in an Art elective through K12 and my daughter is in K12’s 1st grade music. Next year when my son enters 3rd grade, we’ll be taking our first foreign language course… I’ve not landed on anything yet, but I’m thinking Spanish would be the most practical.

So, there it is! I’ll elaborate more in the days to come and will additionally post photos of our homeschool from time to time, so you can see K12 in action!
